It’s not everyday that you see a normal house that’s been turned into a restaurant! Serves traditional Korean dishes~

Budae Jiggae – A type of Korean hot pot that mixes a lot of stuff in it like sausages, rice cake, ramen, etc.

Being slightly more healthy with purple rice, also known as ‘black’ rice ~ Actually maybe it’s just a mix between ‘black’ rice and white rice. Who knows? I’m no rice expert but It tastes good!

Location: John St, Lidcombe (Sydney) – CBA side of the station

What absolutely fascinated me was the fact that this restaurant is a house, which was previously a medical centre…Anyway, irrelevancies aside, it’s quite an impressive concept!

I must say though, I found it strange that the first half of the menu showed a lot of Japanese dishes. That’s not to say the Korean foods aren’t there, it’s just in the latter half, but being a ‘Traditional’ Korean Restaurant the order was a bit strange – Just minor details!

Here’s some traditional decorations I found rather cool in the house restaurant:
