So cool so cool – I hadn’t been to an American-styled diner before! It was excitement :D

My friend decided to order some cotton candy before we head off. It was Green apple vs. Watermelon. Green apple won.

Green Apple Cotton Candy

I’m not a huge fan of cotton candy in general because it’s just sugar but omgah, the ones here are so big and fluffy!! Oh and sweet and fruity :D I hadn’t had fruit flavoured cotton candy before this.

Location: Republic 2 building courtyard on Palmer St just off Burton St, Darlinghurst (Sydney)

The food was good and the staff were also very friendly and approachable. The cafes’ situated in a non-crowded environment and the warm sunshine that day just made the experience super relaxing. I didn’t want to go study after this – Food coma-ed – but alas I had to.

I know for sure that this is open on Saturdays from 11:30am – 2:30pm but it’s not open everyday so just do a quick Google before you make a trip there. Will definitely return for the popular Pecan Chocolate Pie and watermelon cotton candy! Oh, and the macaroni and cheese – that sounds nice and fatty.

:)

    • Isn’t it? Even the American-inspired decor excited me haha. I just looked up Johnny Rockets and looking their menu… -drools- !! Cheese and bacon fries, yum. And those melts… I love melted cheese.
